Spring is definitely here with the Kingston Farmers’ Market opening on Saturday, May 7 in uptown Kingston.  This year there are more than 60 vendors with lots of ready-to-eat foods. Customers welcomed back their favorite vendors and children played games and watched circus acts. The Bushkill Brass Band created a festive mood while playing and walking through the crowd.

The Bushkill Brass Band makes its way though the crowd.
Old-fashioned canning from Perry’s Pickles of Rosendale.
Becca Finch, market associate at Maynard Farms in Ulster Park, is holding a North Georgia candy roaster squash.
Debra Boan of Saugerties, owner of Peace Love Jerky Treats for Dogs, gives Alfie, a returning customer, a treat.
