On Saturday morning, May 7 volunteer groups and individuals participated in Kingston’s Annual Clean Sweep.  People were busy picking up litter, raking leaves, taking down Christmas lights, mulching their flower beds and more at their businesses and homes along the Kingston Broadway corridor from uptown to downtown.  The Sweep was sponsored by the Friends of Historic Kingston and the City of Kingston with support from Herzog’s Home Center and Stewart’s.

Debra Sonnenstein, an employee of Ulster Savings Bank, sweeps the sidewalk in front of the Old Dutch Church.
