Police charge Plattekill man with making meth

State Police arrested Franklin A. Hallock, 37, of Plattekill, on Feb. 23 and charged him with:

  • Unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree
  • Criminal possession of methamphetamine materials in the second
  • Criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree
  • Six counts of Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree

The arrest followed a tip about possible production of methamphetamine at a residence on Huckleberry Tpke. and a subsequent search warrant signed by Town of Gardiner Justice Hon. Robert Rich.

Due to the nature of the materials on scene, the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team was involved.


Hallock was arraigned before Town of Plattekill Justice Annamaria Maciocia and remanded to the Ulster County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bond.
