It wasn’t just another day at the office for Woodstock Town Supervisor, Jeremy Wilber, when he received a trio of Chinese tourists in April. An older gentleman and a couple in their 30’s came into Wilber’s office at the Comeau Property’s town office. “I was, you know, sitting in my office, barking orders and raising taxes, when they arrived. The young woman was a professor of education at Beijing Normal University and had been in the U.S. for courses at Columbia University. She came to Woodstock and fell in love with the town,” he says . . .
