This year’s Halloween Parade may have set a record for attendance. “We have one doughnut left,” said one of the volunteers serving the apple juice and doughnuts. “We usually have a few left over.”
The order was for 150 doughnuts, she said.
The line of costumed marchers stretched for several blocks as it made its way from the village parking lot to Donlon Auditorium, on the second floor of Village Hall. Refreshments were served in the firehouse in the space where engines are usually parked.
Costume winners were as follows: Cutest— Brianna Chubb and Karen Chubb; Funniest— Desmond Family; Most Creative, Bryce Gardner; Best Group; Cirius family; Scariest, Ashley Campbell.
