Meet the Town Board candidates: Allyson Barbaria

allyson-barbaria

Party: Republican Party

If elected, what would be your top priority?

If elected, my top priority will be to make sure taxpayers are receiving optimum services, for which they are paying from all departments. In combination with also ensuring that the illegal drug activity impeding our youth and community remains at the forefront of the town’s efforts.

What experience do you have that would make you an effective Town Board member?

Being a fiscal conservative, in addition to being employed at a well respected and valued accounting firm. I have unparalleled experience in dealing with all financial genres, from multimillion dollar companies to small business owners, which include a variety of occupations and services. Also having experience in dealing with both federal and state agencies. I will bring new ideas and a fresh outlook to current financial trends.

Poll: Who’s your pick for Saugerties Town Board?

What should voters know about you?

I am an open-minded person who values other people’s perspectives even if they differ from mine. I always like to hear the opinions of others. Together with brainstorming the best ideas/solutions are reached. My work ethic is unprecedented, and I am accustomed to working under extreme pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.
