Saugerties Meet the Candidates nights: Tuesday and Thursday

The Jerry Bartlett Memorial Angling Collection of the Phoenicia Library is hosting its first of four Catskill Fishing Fever Forums to celebrate the life and times of Frank Mele: author, musician, flyfisher supreme, and noted conservationist, 12:30 p.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at the Phoenicia Library, 48 Main Street.

The Saugerties League of Women Voters will hold two Meet the Candidates nights this week at the Senior Center on Market St.

Tuesday, Oct. 6

  • 7 p.m. County Executive candidates: Terry Bernardo and Hunter Donnie. Incumbent Mike Hein will not be there.
  • 8:10 p.m. County Legislator for Saugerties District 2- Chris Allen and Angie Minew.

Thursday, Oct. 8

  • 7 p.m. Town Board: Fred Costello, Leeanne Thornton and Dan Ellsworth. Candidate Allyson Barbaria will not be there.
  • 8:10 p.m. Town Supervisor:  Greg Helsmoortel and Gaetana Ciarlante
