Woodstock Film Fest at the Orpheum in Saugerties

As in years past, the Orpheum Theater on Main St. in Saugerties will be showing numerous films this weekend. See the film fest’s website for info about each and schedule for other venues.

In the photo above, members of the Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce joined Meira Blaustein of the Woodstock Film Festival at the Saugerties Orpheum to mark the beginning of the festival. Pictured are Tiffany Sperl, chamber board member, Analia Maya of Tango Restaurant, which will be hosting a display of festival posters from the past, Bob Siracusano, chamber board member, Peggy Schwartz, chamber co-chair, also featured in a documentary film made by her daughter which will be shown at the festival, Meira Blaustein, CEO of the festival, and Mark Smith, chair of the Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce.

Friday, 10/17

7 p.m. “Amira and Sam”

9:30 p.m. “Enquiring Minds”

 

 

Saturday, 10/18

12 p.m. “Little White Lie” (Local connection – see this week’s Almanac Weekly)

2 p.m. “Mentor”

4:30 p.m. “The Young Kieslowski”

7 p.m. “Queens and Cowboys” (preceded by “Passing Ellenville”)

9:40 p.m. “The Last Time You Had Fun”

 

 

Sunday, 10/19

12:30 p.m. “Arwad”

3 p.m. “Little Accidents”

5:45 p.m. “The Red Robin”
