Neon paint party hits Cabaloosa’s in New Paltz on Jan. 25

cabaloosa HZTKick Rocks Inc. will host its first neon paint party of the year on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. at Cabaloosa’s in New Paltz. It will be hosted by DJ Creep Star, with local acts such as Luzcid, DJ Deuces, DJ Big Pasta, DJ Bear Sauce and award-winning beat boxer J Flo. “It’s more than a night-club feel,” said Nate Finocchi of Kick Rocks Inc. “We all work together — the promoters, the artists, musicians — to make it more of a family affair.”

Cabaloosa’s will be covered with black lights and neon paint. “Get creative, get sexy and get prepared for a wild night,” said Finocchi.

Event coordinators strongly suggest wearing white and neon to catch the lights. Kick Rocks members will have super soakers filled with water-based paint of all different colors, spraying everyone down.

“Bring your friends out and prepare to get painted from head to toe,” said Finocchi. “We’re looking forward to starting off the new year right.”

The party starts at 10 p.m.; ladies get in for free before 11 p.m. There is an $8 cover charge and partygoers must be at least 18 years old with proper ID. Bring college ID for a discounted $3 entry fee.
