Bruno, Schirmer get GOP nod for Town Board

The Republicans will attempt to capture a majority in town government this fall, sending incumbent James “Jimmy” Bruno and William Schirmer to the ballot. Both candidates were born and raised in Saugerties, and both are business owners. Republican Caucus voters gave Bruno 182 votes, Schirmer 167 and Santos Lopez 39.
