Schwartz receives Chamber award

At the May 28 Saugerties Chamber of Commerce members meeting at the Harmony House B&B on Rt. 212, the 2013 SCC Business Person of the Year was announced. This honor is voted on by all of the members of the Chamber and is based on certain criteria, including community involvement and support of local businesses. This year’s winner is Peggy Schwartz, owner of Town & Country Liquors. Schwartz received a framed certificate and a basket of goodies from local businesses. Past winners of this award were Rick Smith and Sharon Brontoli of Smith’s Hardware in 2011 and Bob Siracusano of Sawyer Motors in 2012.
