Dottie Mergendahl, Meghan Laurey, Aliyah Lewis, Betty Zerbo, Georgina Dickson, Giavanna Dargan, Tracey Lewis, Barbara Dargan, Patty Leser and Anneliese Kime.

On Sunday, Nov. 4 the Adopt a Soldier committee spent the afternoon making homemade cookies at the Elks Lodge to be packed with hot cocoa mix ,warm socks, slim jims, lip balm, sunflower seeds and foot powder to be shipped for Thanksgiving Day, to let our soldiers know they are not forgotten at home. On Saturday, Dec. 8 the group will ship Christmas boxes to deployed soldiers. To fill a box for a soldier, pick one up at the Elks Lodge or call 246-4247 for more information. Adopt a Solder pays for all shipping costs. To request a box for a deployed member of the military, call Barbara at 246- 4247 or Dottie at 246- 6419.
