Visit seven wonderful gardens at their most beautiful on the 2011 Secret Gardens of Saugerties tour on Saturday, July 9 from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Spend a day viewing nature’s beauty while getting ideas for your own garden. Tickets are $15 if purchased by July 8 at noon at Smith Hardware on Main Street, or $25 on the day of the event at 201 Washington Avenue, where you will receive descriptions of the gardens and directions. If it is raining heavily, call 246-0710 or 246-5184 after 9 a.m. to determine whether the tour will go on or be re-scheduled to Sunday, July 10. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Saugerties.
