How to place an ad in Almanac Weekly’s classifieds: To place a classified ad, e-mail copy to classifieds@ulsterpublishing.com, use our online form or call our office at (845) 334-8200 and ask for Tobi or Amy. Our regular line ad rate is $20 for 30 words; 20 cents for each additional word, but we offer discounts for multiple-week placement. The final deadline to place a classified is Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Events calendar
How to get your event in our calendar:
The calendar appears online and in Almanac Weekly. Use our online submission form. Most cultural and community events will be listed for free. Paid workshops, classes and some other types of events may be subject to a small fee. All event listings are subject to review by our calendar editor. Some submissions which appear online may not appear in print due to space constraints. All listings are published at Ulster Publishing’s discretion. The deadline is the Friday before the next Thursday’s paper.

Letters to the editor
Letters to the editor are published in Woodstock, New Paltz, Saugerties and Kingston Times.
All letters must include a name, address and phone number. Only the name and town of origin are published.
Letters should be submitted by email if possible, with text in the body of an email, or .doc or .otf file format.
Deadlines and word limits vary, and are recommendations- exceptions are made, but late and long letters are the first to be cut.
New Paltz Times– Deadline 3:30 p.m. on the Friday before the following Thursday’s paper. Recommended length: 500 words or fewer. newpaltztimes@ulsterpublishing.com
Woodstock Times– Deadline Monday before Thursday’s paper. Word limit: Recommended length: 300 words or fewer. wtedit@gmail.com
