Cyro Baptista, a gifted percussionist as at-home in the avant-garde as in pop and traditional music, brings his wild, theatrical show to the Falcon in Marlboro on Thursday, March 15. Baptista’s mastery of Brazilian percussion, and the many instruments he creates himself, has earned him a worldwide reputation and spots on several Grammy award-winning records. Baptista has a special place in his heart for The Falcon so his intimate Marlboro shows are not to be missed. Dinner begins at 5:30; reservations are strongly recommended. Music starts at 7. Call (845)236-7970 or visit www.liveatthefalcon.com for more details. Rather than charging a cover fee, the Falcon’s doors are open to everyone on a pay-what-you-can basis. If you want to be sure of getting a seat, however, come early for dinner. “We have a donation box, and everything goes directly to the musicians. Please come and enjoy the music, and remember to put what you can in the box,” says Tony Falco, the man behind the Falcon’s legendary success.
